Sumato marks a decade of building technology from Guwahati
Founded in 2015, Sumato Globaltech reflects on ten years of solving operational problems for public and enterprise clients.
Sumato Globaltech was incorporated in Guwahati, Assam in 2015. Over the decade since, its work has moved from digitizing records to AI assistants, retrieval-augmented search and computer vision.
Through that change, the focus has stayed the same: start from the operational problem, build systems that hold up in real conditions, and grow engineering talent in Northeast India.
The next decade will bring more regional-language AI and more work on the data foundations that make AI trustworthy.
