Sumato Globaltech Pvt. Ltd. is a Guwahati-based technology company that solves operational problems for government and enterprise, from AI assistants and retrieval-augmented search to computer vision and the data foundations underneath them.

Starting from the problem, not the technology

Sumato Globaltech began in Guwahati in 2015 with a simple conviction: technology should be judged by the operational problem it removes, not by the features it lists.

That conviction has shaped the work ever since. A department drowning in paperwork needs an assistant that drafts in its own formats. An institution with ten thousand pages of rules needs answers it can verify. A field workforce needs attendance that works on a cheap phone with no signal.

Today, Sumato's teams combine applied AI, computer vision and careful data engineering to solve problems like these for public institutions and growing businesses across India.
